Privacy policy

Tenzen ("we", "us", "our") operates this website (the "Site"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

1. What we collect

When you browse the Site we automatically receive standard log data such as IP address, browser type, referring pages, cookies, and pages viewed. When you place an order, create an account, contact support, or sign up for marketing, we additionally collect information you provide directly, including:

  • Name, email address, phone number, and shipping and billing addresses.
  • Order details and payment reference IDs (we do not store card numbers or CVVs; payments are processed by Razorpay).
  • Messages you send us via the Help Centre form or Instagram.
  • Account credentials and saved addresses if you create a customer account.

2. How we use your information

  • To process and ship your orders, including sharing your name, address, phone number, and order items with our shipping carriers.
  • To process payments through Razorpay and, where applicable, handle refunds.
  • To send you transactional emails about your orders (confirmation, shipping, delivery, returns).
  • To respond to support requests and to improve our products and Site.
  • With your explicit consent, to send marketing emails about new drops and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in those emails.

3. Cookies & analytics

We use first-party and third-party cookies to keep you signed in, remember items in your cart, and understand how the Site is used. Third-party services that set cookies include Shopify (platform), Razorpay (payments), Google Analytics (traffic), and Meta Pixel (advertising). You can block cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the Site may not work correctly.

4. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers necessary to run our business:

  • Shopify — e-commerce platform that hosts the Site.
  • Razorpay — payment gateway for UPI, cards, netbanking, and wallets.

  • Shipping carriers (Delhivery, Shiprocket, India Post, Blue Dart, etc.) to deliver your order.
  • Email service providers that deliver order and marketing emails.
  • Analytics and advertising partners (Google, Meta) in pseudonymised form.

We may also disclose your information where required by law, court order, or a valid government request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

5. How long we keep your information

We retain order and invoice records for eight (8) years as required by Indian tax law. Marketing consent records are kept until you withdraw consent. Browsing analytics are retained for up to 26 months in aggregated form.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to port it to another provider, and to withdraw marketing consent. To exercise any of these rights, email support.tenzen@gmail.com and we will respond within thirty (30) days.

7. Security

All payments run over TLS and are tokenised by Razorpay. Account passwords are hashed. We do not have access to your payment card numbers. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

8. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please email us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with a revised "last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
